Step 5 Final Polishing -

Nearly finished, the biodiesel is filtered through an ion exchange resin in a process called “dry washing.” The resin removes any soaps, glycerol or catalyst that might remain. Finally, the biodiesel is triple filtered, removing particles down to 3 microns (0.003 mm) in size. At last, the conversion from dirty waste vegetable oil is complete, and the biodiesel is ready to be used in a diesel engine.
